Apologies for being a little quiet.
This Saturday saw the launch of The Ocean Doesn't Want Me's second full length album As The Dust Settles at Schivas Rock in Pretoria. They were joined by
A Skyline On Fire and
Tale Of The Son (I'll post some photos of them soon).
I'll say again; I am so
STOKED to have been a part of this process. From inception up until the first chord was struck on Saturday night has been a huge build up of nerves and it was worth every tense moment! They played with so much passion! It was a site to behold and I feel sorry for you if you weren't there.
Fear not though, because the launch tour will continue throughout the rest of April until the end of May. Next up is Cape Town, which is this coming weekend.
Then Potchefstroom, Pietermaritzburg and they'll be back in Pretoria for a final show at Arcade Empire. I believe a Johannesburg gig is in the works though, so don't fret :)
